INITIAL RESPONSE
Search initiated 09/03/1993 at 17:15 hrs following report of missing juvenile at 139 Hollow Bend Road. Deputies coordinated with family members, neighbors, and volunteers to establish organized grid search of immediate area.
PRIMARY SEARCH AREAS – FRIDAY (09/03)
• Wooded property directly behind residence
• Hogback Creek (multiple segments)
• Hollow Bend Road shoulders and drainage
• Informal footpaths in vicinity
In the evening the search perimeter was expanded east and north into additional wooded terrain and creek bends. No personal items, confirmed tracks, or signs of disturbance located.
OVERNIGHT OPERATIONS
Search continued after dark utilizing flashlights and rotating volunteer groups.
Wooded area behind 139 Hollow Bend Road walked multiple times by separate teams.
Sections of Hogback Creek checked visually and by hand along shallow banks.
Verbal call-outs conducted at regular intervals. No response heard.
SATURDAY (09/04)
Weather overcast. Ground wet from overnight rainfall.
Outbuildings, sheds, culverts, drainage areas, fields, and tree lines searched with owner consent.
Previously covered areas rechecked. Water level in Hogback Creek slightly elevated.
No evidence recovered.
SUNDAY (09/05)
Volunteer turnout reduced but steady.
Woods north of Hollow Bend Road and parcels behind neighboring residences searched again.
Wooded area behind 139 Hollow Bend Road received third coordinated pass.
Terrain described as dense and uneven. Fatigue among participants noted.

No confirmed sightings, physical evidence, or trace items related to Brittany Lynn located within the established search perimeter.
Search activity continued on limited basis under deputy supervision.
